Jitesh Sharma is new pick as the replacement of injured Sanju Samson

Since Sanju Samson was precluded with a knee injury, BCCI named Jitesh Sharma in India’s T20I crew. Sanju Samson’s fan are disappointed after his knee injury ruled him out from the remaining T20 series. He injured himself while fielding at the wet square boundary. His admirer waited long enough to see him in blue jersey and were very ecstatic knowing his selection for Sri Lanka T20 series. Although he failed to impress the audience with his bat in the first match, his fans were expecting to see him again in the upcoming matches.

Besides this, As per some sources, Arshdeep Singh is now fit and ready to join the squad. he was ill in the first T20, Shivam Mavi filled his shoes and did quite well. He delivered an impressive performance and took 4 wickets. His final stats were 4 Overs, 22 runs, 4 Wkts. With such a performance, it is now a tougher job for selectors to pick the bowling squad.

India went to the match with 6 full time bowlers 4 pacers Hardik Pandya, Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, Harshal Patel and 2 spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Axar patel. Indian skipper choose to open bowling with Shivam Mavi, even though Harshal Patel and Umran Malik had done it earlier. Hardik Pandya’s decision turned correct, Shivam Mavi justified the decision the by dismissing the Pathum Nissanka in his very first over of international career. In his very next over he dismissed Dhananjaya de Silva and made men in blue favorites of the match.

He was called by the skipper in 15th over and again he proved his decision right. He dismissed the dangerous Wanindu Hasaranga (21 runs, 10 balls, 4X1, 6X2). He ceases India’s victory by dismissing Maheesh Theekshana in 18th over at the overall score of 132/8. He finished his spell with 4 Overs, 22 runs, 4 Wickets.
