HISTORIC performance by Surya Kumar Yadav In T20 internationals.

With kind of form he is in, it was expected. Surya Kumar Yadav made history in T20 internationals today. In the match against Zimbabwe, he made 61* runs in just 25 balls and hit 6X4 and 4X6. he became first Indian and only second international batter to score more than 1000 runs in a calendar year. Earlier Pakistani opener Mohammad Rizwan made more than 1000 runs in 2021 and remain highest run scorer.

“Run Scored in 2022“

For Surya Kumar Yadav, this T20 WC has become a treat. Last week he reach to the top of ICC T20 ranking with 863 points, by replacing Mohammad Rizwan and today he completed his 1000 runs in 2022. He took 28 innings and scored 1026 runs with the average of 44.60 and strike rate 186.54.

“T20 International Career“

His another remarkable achievement is that he became first international player to hot more than 50 sixes in a single year. In his overall T20 career, he played 39 matches scored 1270 runs at the average of 42.33 and strike rate of 179.63. With the highest score of 117 he has scored 1 century and 9 half century.

“T20 World Cup 2022”

For Surya Kumar Yadav, this T20 World Cup couldn’t be better. He already has played some decisive innings for his team. He has scored 3 half centuries and overall scored 225 run in 5 match with the average of 75 and strike 193.96. Till now his scores 15(10), 68(40), 51(25), 30(16), 61*(25) certainly speaks the the kind of form he is in. Now the interesting question would be, If he could get a place in ODIs as next year 50 over World Cup is also scheduled. His fans would definitely love to see him batting at number 4 in the ODIs as well.
