KL Rahul removed from VC’s duty but retained for remaining Test and ODIs

KL Rahul is in question from very long time. He is out of form nobody knows since when. He is on disappointment streak in all the formats. Tough India has won the first 2 Test Matches with the flying colors, he fails to contribute in any ways.

KL Rahul in Leadership Role

After Virat Kohli stepped down from captaincy, KL Rahul first assumed the Vice Captainship in T20s. Later in Dec 2021 he assumed the leadership role in the series against the South Africa and against the Sri Lanka. He also got the opportunity to lead the team in the 2 Test match series against Bangladesh.

Besides International Cricket, he also was put into the leadership role in world biggest league IPL. In 2019 he was officially announced as Captain of KINGs XI PUNJAB. He played 2 season and their captain but failed to push his team into SEMIS. In 2022 he was bought by LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS and appointed as Captain and the team finished third in the table.

KL RAHUL’s Out of Form streak

He is been out of form from quite some time but was continuously given chance. In the last 7 Test Matches he has made only 175 runs with only 1 half century. In his last 10 ODI innings he has cumulatively scored 285 runs with only 2 half centuries and 73 as the highest. Comparing to Test and ODIs his T20s performance are still better but not up to his talent. In his last 10 T20 innings he has scored 247 runs with 4 half centuries and 57 as his highest score.
