On Tuesday Pakistan’s former speed star Shoaib Akhtar blasted on Pakistani opening batsman Babar Azam in a Private TV Channel interview. He in his statement said that he is not biggest brand of Pakistan because he can speak fluent english in Media or post match presentation ceremony. Shoaib Akhtar also criticize Shaheeh Shah Afridi for leaving the field due to knee pain in Final of 2022 T20 World Cup. Which Pakistan eventually lost. Now former PCB Chief and skipper Ramiz Raja slammed Shoaib Akhtar for his unruly remarks.

Shoaib Akhtar’s Remarks
He in an interview said that Babar Azam is not the biggest brand of Pakistan because he cannot communicate fluently in English. In the same interview, In an another statement on Shaheen Shah Afridi he said that he should have completed his spell in the finals of 2022 T20 World Cup even tough he was struggling with knee injury. This could have made him Hero in cricket fraternity.

Ramiz Raja’s Rebuttle
Former PCB Chief Ramiz Raja slammed Shoaib Akhtar for his unruly remarks on current players. He was guest on Private New Channel for the match between IU (Islamabad United) and QG (Quetta Gladiators) in PSL 2023. While it was high scoring match, viewers was more excited to know about the Ramiz’s view on Shoaib remaks made on him (Shoaib in the same interview also said on Ramiz Raja that he became PCB Chief to expose himself).
When asked about his opinion, Ramiz Raja openly said that Shoaib Akhtar is a “DELUSIONAL SUPERSTAR“. He further added that “A star with delusions, Shoaib Akhtar. He just had a conflict with Kamran Akmal as well. He wants everyone to become a brand, but first becoming a human is more crucial. Become a human first, then a brand, then. By making irrational claims, our former cricket players damage our sport’s reputation. That will never occur in our neighbouring nation, I assure you. Sunil Gavaskar will never be seen criticising Rahul Dravid. Former athletes exclusively do it in Pakistan, where they won’t allow others to do their jobs professionally.”
Ramiz Raja slammed Shoaib Akhtar also on his wish of becoming PCB Chief. he said that “First he needs to have at least a B.A (undergrad) degree to be eligible for applying for PCB Chairmanship.”
