Former Pakistani wicket keeper batsman Kamran Akmal said BCCI doing right thing. As they are not allowing Indian players to play in PSL (Pakistan Super League). Kamran Akmal recently took retirement from all form of International Cricket. He was on “Nadir Ali Podcast” and shared his opinions not only PSL but also on his debacle with Ishant Sharma and Gautam Gambir.

Kamran Akmal on “Indian players for PSL”
When asked about should Indian players play in PSL or not?. He clearly said that they should not play. He also said that “BCCI is doing right thing and PCB should also learn from them“. He further explained “The Indian board is doing the right thing by refraining their players to play in overseas T20 leagues. They are aware that the IPL goes on for two months, and there is a lot of international cricket as well. The players are financially fulfilled and there is no need for them to go and play in other leagues.”
He also added “Our board can also learn from it as it can prolong the careers of players. They have 14 to 15 players who have played over a hundred Test matches, while we have just two or three such players. India value their cricket and their players. The IPL pays players a lot. The BBL is nothing in front of the IPL. No league in the world can match the IPL.”
Kamran Akmal on debacle with “Gautam Gambhir“
Speaking about the incident happened in 2009 while Gautam Gambhir was batting, He said “That was complete misunderstanding. Saeed Ajmal was bowling, there was an appeal for caught-behind from me in an ASIA CUP 2009 match. It was given not out. Gambhir said something in a hilarious way, but because of the hype around India-Pakistan matches I mis understood it. he did not use any cuss words. If I am not wrong, he said that to himself, but I felt it was for me,“
Kamran Akmal on debacle with “Ishant Sharma“
Kamran Akmal recalls another ugly incident happened with Ishant Sharma in 2012 “Ishant Sharma did abuse, but also received them back in abundance (Ishant ne gaali diya par baad mein usko bhi bohot pada). MS Dhoni, captain of the team, such a nice person, and Suresh Raina came and settled it down. India were losing and it happened in heat of the moment. Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez were playing very well so he was unhappy,“

Kamran Akmal on moving Asia Cup 2023 out of PAK
After BCCI’s decision of not coming to Pakistan for ASIA CUP 2023, which is already scheduled there. Kamran Akmal bashed BCCI for their stand. BCCI suggested to move to a neutral ground but he didn’t liked the Idea. On asking, if moved to a neutral venue should Pakistan appear for Asia Cup 2023? he said “Pakistan should definitely play the Asia Cup, even if it is played in the UAE. But if Indians decide not to come to Pakistan we should also boycott the World Cup match against them.”
